Dubai Employment Visa Journey

Employment Visa Processing in the UAE

Perks of Employment Visa in UAE

    Employer Sponsorship

Employers in the UAE can sponsor foreign nationals for employment visas by first obtaining approval from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA). The process includes submitting a job offer, proof of the company’s legal status, and details about the foreign national. Required documentation typically includes the employee’s passport copy, educational certificates, and a medical fitness certificate.

    Job Category and Qualifications

Employee visas are available for a wide range of occupations, from skilled professionals to technical and managerial roles. The specific educational and experience requirements depend on the job and industry. Generally, roles requiring higher qualifications or specialized skills necessitate corresponding academic degrees and relevant experience.

    Contractual Obligations

Employment contracts must include details about salary, benefits, working hours, and job responsibilities. The contract should align with UAE labor laws, ensuring fair compensation and working conditions. Employers are required to provide benefits such as health insurance, end-of-service gratuity, and paid leave.

    Probation Period

A probationary period is common for employees on a visa and typically lasts up to six months. During this time, the employer can evaluate the employee’s performance, and either party can terminate the contract with minimal notice. Termination during probation does not usually affect the employee’s visa status directly, but it can impact future employment prospects.

    Termination and Transfers

If an employee is terminated or wishes to transfer to another employer, the existing employment visa must be canceled. The employee may need to exit the UAE and re-enter on a new visa if switching employers. It’s crucial to follow legal procedures to avoid overstaying or facing penalties.

    Dependents and Sponsorship

Employee visa holders can sponsor family members, including spouses and children. The process involves applying for family visas through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) or the ICA. Sponsors must meet minimum salary requirements and provide proof of relationship and accommodation.

Its hard to explain how much Sparkle Solutions has done for me for the past year. :)Specifically, Saška the owner and Mohsin the manager have gone way beyond the call of duty to help me in dozens of situations regarding opening my company in Dubai, geting my Emirates ID, opening business and personal bank accounts, payment and tax system..Listen, one time, Mohsin literally RAN outside, in a suit, in August in 50 degrees celsius, just so he can get my ID done in time!! :DTheir pricing is great and honest and their servise and communication is, literally the best I've ever experienced with any agency of that type, in any country.Already many of my friends also started working with them regarding opening and running a business in Dubai.Their initial offer will list exactly and transparently all the steps and costs until you have your business, medical, ID, bank accounts etc. set up and then - they will execute it smoothly, with great speed and communication, precisely as it was written. Its what they did for me and all my friends and I did not know them personally before we started working. What more can you ask for?

I want to warn all people not to give money before the service is completed. I am very disappointed with the unprofessionalism in the preparation of the offer and the later problems caused by the poor analysis of the case. They are very much to be avoided or not given money before the completion of what they promise. They told me that they would finish the task in 7 working days, it took 2 months, I was returned from the airport, I lost a lot of nerves (and money). The goal of what I'm writing is to prevent other people who believe in professionalism and soft-spokenness from being harmed.

Getting business license and moving my business to Dubai seemed like a very complex process up until I get to know the guys from Sparkle Solutions. They had the answer to all my questions. Made it all look easy with their proffesionalism and expertise. Helped me arrange everything quickly and efficiently. Since it was my first time in Dubai, they gave me directions with everything that I needed help with: flights, accommodation, getting to know the Downtown and so on. The best part was their warm welcome in their offices where we discussed everything in person. I would recommend them to everyone and defenitely would collaborate with them again in the future with the services that they offer. Don't hesitate, they are the right choice!

    FAQs

The process for company formation in Dubai involves selecting the appropriate business structure (such as a mainland, free zone, or offshore company), obtaining necessary approvals from relevant authorities, registering the company with the Department of Economic Development (DED), and acquiring required licenses. Additionally, you need to secure a physical office space and complete all immigration and visa formalities for employees.

In Dubai, businesses can be established as mainland companies, free zone companies, or offshore companies. Mainland companies allow for operation throughout the UAE and require a local sponsor, while free zone companies offer benefits like tax exemptions and full foreign ownership but are restricted to operating within the designated free zones. Offshore companies are used for international business operations and enjoy confidentiality and asset protection benefits.

To obtain a residency visa in Dubai, you typically need to have a sponsor, such as an employer or a business you own. The process involves submitting an application along with required documents, undergoing a medical examination, and obtaining approval from the respective government departments. Once approved, you receive your residency visa, which is usually stamped in your passport.

Businesses operating in Dubai must comply with various policies and regulations, including obtaining the necessary licenses and permits from the Department of Economic Development (DED) or relevant free zone authority. They must adhere to local labor laws, including employment contracts, working hours, and employee benefits. Additionally, businesses must follow guidelines on corporate governance, taxation, and financial reporting as applicable to their business type and location.
